Who are we?
We are an inclusive and welcoming Anglican church, situated in the heart of our local community.
At St Nicholas', we strive to follow the example of Jesus in the way he lived, expressing and practicing the compassion and all-encompassing love God has for the world.
St Nicholas' parish encompasses Mordialloc, Aspendale, Aspendale Gardens and Edithvale.
We gather for worship on the traditional lands of the Boon Wurrong peoples who, from time immemorial, have cared for the land on which we meet. We pay our respects to Boon Wurrong elders, past and present, and to all First Nations people.
The Anglican Church of Australia within the Diocese of Melbourne, is committed to child safe practice. The care, the safety and the welfare of children are embedded in policies and practices which are intended to reflect a commitment to zero tolerance of child abuse. Please visit Children & Family Page for more information.
Our worship is joyful and reverent in the Anglican tradition. We meet every Sunday at 9:15am for Holy Eucharist. This service includes Sunday School for children every Sunday (except school holidays) and is followed by morning tea fellowship. Messy Church, an all-age, informal and fun way of doing Church that is particularly suited to families with children, is held on the fourth Sunday of the month (excepting December and January) from 4.00 - 6.00 pm. CHILDREN & FAMILY
Messy Church is a way of being church for all ages, involving experiences and fun. It does not prioritise either the needs of children or adults, but intentionally welcomes and provides for all ages. It is particularly fitting for families who may not find other forms of church appealing.
Childrens Activities are available in the Children/Family area of our Church There is always someone on hand to help out.
